Gazan poet Mosab Abu Toha released by IDF following public pressure; English novelist A. S. Byatt has died
Mosab Abu Toha, a Palestinian poet from Gaza and winner of the American Book Award, was detained and reportedly beaten by the IDF after being stopped with his family at a military checkpoint on Sunday while trying to cross the border into Egypt. He has since been released in Gaza.
